Properties

A property is user-defined information bound to an object in QBank. Properties can be of different types, like strings, numbers, a set of options to choose from and more. On top of that, a property can be configured to be hidden, set as read-only and marked as mandatory.

Properties can contain extra validation, like minimum number of characters for strings, a specific date range for dates or a minimum and maximum value for a number property.

STEP-BY-STEP Guide to find your Property setup

1. Navigate to the Administration tab in the upper right corner 
2. Click on Properties in the left panel
3. By clicking on a property you will find information about the configuration of the property
4. You can also add a brand new Property by clicking on Add New

When setting up properties you will have to enter a “system name”, this name is mainly used when accessing properties using our API, instead of using plain IDs. A description can also be entered and will be shown in conjunction with the property when editing.
