Pressroom case - Absolut Media Room 

Challenge

The Absolut Company previously let an external party manage their media room. This proved a complicated process, as they were forced contact them at every upload, alteration or publication of material. This tedious process cost the Absolut Company both time and money, and as a result they only had a few press releases and images published in their media room. The lack of a functional media room reduced Absolut’s presence in the press and ultimately weakened their brand.

Solution

With QBank, the Absolut Company now have a media room they can administer themselves. Material is uploaded, categorized and then published to a frontend that follows Absolut’s own design. Their digital assets are sorted after file type, such as image or press releases, and can be tagged with keywords and information.

Result

By administering the media room themselves, Absolut reduced the time it takes for their material to reach the market and thereby increased their presence in the press. Now, press always have possession the right format and version of Absolut’s images, thereby ensuring brand consistency. By having their employees manage their digital assets, Absolut is also saving money that otherwise would flow to an external party. Furthermore, the function to receive statistics enables Absolut to measure how their campaigns are received by the market.
