Forget about me - GDPR processes in QBank

One hot potato of GDPR is the right for a person to be forgotten or erased. We have a feature in QBank that takes care of this. We call it “Value redact”.

Step by step guide: 

1. Click on the Administration tab
2. Click on Accounts and Security
3. Click on Value redact

You simply add the value in the field for "Find Value" and QBank will search through all data fields. QBank will search for whole words so if you are looking for a person use first and last name, E.g. Anna Nyström instead of just Anna.

When the search result is ready you will get a list of value matches to see where “Anna Nyström” is present. When you are ready to delete you press “Redact occurrences” and the value you search for will be changed to “REDACTED” and cannot be traced back to the original value. 

Before erasing the tracks completely, it may be helpful to review this person's ownership of folders, uploaded images or moodboards. Read more about this in the article about merge user rights and change asset owner.
